Ilarion, a Sicilian tenor and composer, writes original music on commission for institutions, companies, productions and private clients in Italy and around the world. Every piece is written for the person who asks for it and did not exist before.

National and institutional anthems, anthems for political parties, movements and associations, for cities and regions, universities and schools, sports teams, major events and anniversaries. An anthem has to bring people together: a melody everyone can sing, words that say who you are.

Theme tunes and music for television

Theme tunes for TV shows, opening and closing themes, musical stings: a few seconds that must be recognised at first listen.

Soundtracks

Original music for feature films, short films, documentaries and series, as well as podcasts, video games and corporate videos: themes built around the story and the characters.

Sonic identity for brands

The musical theme of a company, a luxury house, a hotel or resort, a cruise ship, a museum or an exhibition: music that becomes part of the identity, like a logo you can hear.

When the piece has lyrics, Ilarion writes them himself, in Italian or in English: two languages to reach both those who love the sound of Italian and an international audience.

• On request, the sheet music, so it can be performed by other musicians, a choir or an orchestra.

As a tenor, Ilarion can also sing the piece live at its premiere, for example at a ceremony, an event or a concert.

How a commissioned piece is born

1. The first meeting, in person or remotely: who you are, what the music is for, what it must make people feel.
2. The writing: melody, harmony and, if needed, lyrics in Italian or English.
3. Listening together: the piece is shared and refined with you.
4. Delivery: the recording and, if you wish, the sheet music.

There is no fixed time: every piece has its own. That is why it is best to get in touch as soon as the project takes shape.
