Where I sing

I carry my voice into the churches, villas and squares of Italy: from piano bars to cruise ships, from theatres to weddings. I perform my liturgical and sacred repertoire according to the canons of the Italian bel canto school, the vocal tradition that made Italy famous throughout the world. A voice that travels

Every church has its own acoustics, every town its own traditions. In the mother church of a Nebrodi village the Ave Maria reaches everyone without any help; in a great city cathedral it has to be allowed to breathe beneath the vaults. Before every ceremony I listen to the space, agree everything with the parish priest and the organist, and prepare the music for that exact place. That is how you come to know a land: one yes at a time.
