Corporate and public event flash mob: a choir that surprises
A convention, an opening, a company party, a square. In the middle of the crowd someone starts singing, and within seconds the voices become a choir. The corporate or public event flash mob, in its sung version, surprises without needing a stage or choreography.
For companies
The singers can be colleagues: a way to celebrate a company anniversary, present a project, say goodbye to someone retiring or open an event. Maestro Ilarion listens to the voices, writes the parts and prepares the group, remotely too, so rehearsals weigh little on working hours.
For openings and public events
At an opening, in a square or in a space open to the public, the choir rises among passers-by. First, together with the event manager, you check what is needed to sing in that place and whether amplification is required.
What the Maestro does
- chooses the piece with you and adapts it to the group's voices;
- gives each person a tailored part;
- leads the rehearsals, in person or remotely;
- coordinates with the event manager and the venue;
- on the day he directs the group, decides where it stands and how long it lasts.
Sung only
Maestro Ilarion organises sung flash mobs only. A surprise choir needs fewer rehearsals than a choreography and works even in tight spaces, between dinner tables or in a lobby.
The Maestro organises flash mobs in Sicily and Calabria, in Tuscany, on Lake Como, in Venice and on the Amalfi Coast. Every occasion is in the guide Sung flash mob organiser.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who organises corporate flash mobs?
Maestro Ilarion creates and directs sung flash mobs for companies: he chooses the piece, writes the parts for colleagues, leads rehearsals remotely too and directs the group on the day of the event.
Can a sung flash mob be done in a square or at an opening?
Yes. First you check with the event manager what is needed to sing in that place and whether amplification is required; then the Maestro prepares and directs the choir.
Do colleagues need to be able to sing?
No. Everyone receives a tailored part and studies it with an audio reference. A few meetings are enough to fit the voices together.
Do you also organise flash mobs with choreography?
No: sung flash mobs only. A choir needs fewer rehearsals than a choreography and works even in tight spaces.
How long does a sung flash mob last?
Usually two or three minutes, with a single piece. The length is decided together depending on the event.
In which cities do you organise flash mobs for companies and events?
In Sicily and Calabria, in Tuscany, on Lake Como, in Venice and on the Amalfi Coast.
